Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On one hand, I appreciated the spacious rooms and great location, with the MTR station just across the street and plenty of attractions within walking distance. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired, especially with a lingering foul smell on the ground floor and rude staff at times. Overall, it offers decent value for money if you are looking for a budget stay in Tsim Sha Tsui.
My stay at the hostel was quite an experience, with a mix of downsides and minor upsides. The room was definitely cramped and not very comfortable, but it was clean. The service was lacking in many areas, especially regarding some issues we faced with our reservations. The location was decent, with easy access to public transport, which is a plus. However, the overall experience was marred by significant management and service failures that made it hard to fully enjoy my time there.
Chung King Mansions is an experience, and not always the good kind. It has a unique vibe, with its chaotic atmosphere and a location that's super central. However, the cramped conditions and questionable cleanliness in some areas really took away from the stay. While it's budget-friendly, the overall service and organization were deeply disappointing, making it hard to recommend without serious reservations.
Overall, I had a decent stay. The place was clean and provided everything I needed, including a helpful staff member who even assisted with my luggage. However, the room was quite small and the bathroom setup left much to be desired. The location is a huge plus, being close to public transportation and local eateries. Still, be prepared for a bit of a cramped experience.
This hostel was a major letdown. Upon arrival, they insisted our booking was canceled because we checked in after 6 PM and then tried to charge us extra for the room. The place felt unsafe, and we were only able to use it to sleep. It was convenient in terms of transport but overall not worth recommending at all.
